2012 Float Fees
$40 canoe for two people

Rates include: paddles, life vests, transportation from Sunburst to put-in, or from take-out back to Sunburst.
** group rental rates based on your group leader collecting all funds and paying for the entire group.
A $10 fee per cancelled canoe applies if notification call not received three days prior to float. If you don't call and don't show or if you reserve boats that you do not need and they are taken to the put in point you will be charged FULL PRICE!!!
Tubes and Rafts are in very limited supply. Call and reserve early.
Tubes and Rafts are ONLY permitted to float from Sunburst to Dawt Mill.
Personal canoe/kayak shuttles: We will haul your canoe for $35 or your single person kayak for $20.
We have raised the prices on this substantially this year for several reasons. We run on a very tight schedule in the mornings and pre-load our canoes and kayaks the day before so our shuttles will run smoothly. It is difficult for us to go to your site and unload one of our boats and put another on and not get behind schedule. There are also liability issues involved. We try to keep the nicest fleet of canoes on the North Fork river. If you LOVE your canoe or kayak feel free to bring it! We will put it on our trailer happily. If you don't love your boat... why not take one of ours for a paddle?
Vehicle shuttles: We offer vehicle shuttles on the North Fork for $25 when we have available staff. The shuttle fee covers one boat. Each additional boat is an additional $5 take out/put in fee.

RV sites (elec & water hookups) $12 per night for the hookup plus regular camping fees.
Foodservice: From Memorial Day to Labor Day on Saturdays we serve biscuits and gravy from 7am-10am and hamburgers and pulled pork sandwiches from 6pm-9pm. We ask that you let us know on Friday as you check in if you will be eating with us on Saturday. Breakfast $5.00; Dinner $6.50
Arrangements can me made if you would like foodservice on days other than a Saturday. We require a minimum of 15 people eating and at least one weeks notice. We offer different menus for larger groups and for groups that will be eating multiple meals with us. Please call if you have any questions (417)284-3443
Lodging-
RiverHouse at Sunburst - Sleeps 14, air conditioned, fully equipped kitchen/ bath, includes use of backyard for additional tent campers. Must rent canoes to rent RiverHouse on weekends. Linens provided, but bring your own beach towels.
Fees per night: $290 per night during season, two night minimum. Over 12 people pays regular camping fees. You must reserve with a credit card. Check-in time 3:00pm, check-out 11:30 unless prior arrangements have been made.
The Log Cabin - Sleeps 8, air conditioned, fully equipped kitchen/bath,
Fees per night: $200 per night during season, two night minimum. Over 8 people pays regular camping fees. You must reserve with a credit card. Check-in time 3:00pm, check-out 11:30 unless prior arrangement have been made.
Cancellation policy for either cabin - we require a $200 deposit up front to reserve either cabin. $100 of this is NON REFUNDABLE. You will receive $100 back if you cancel before the two week deadline. This deposit will be credited toward your stay. The remaining balance will be due upon arrival. If you don't call and don't show, you will be charged full price for the cabin and your canoes!
NEW PET POLICY THIS YEAR: Pets will be allowed in the Riverhouse and Log Cabin for a $40 charge. If the pet destroys anything in the cabins or excessive cleaning needs to be done due to the pet you will be charged a $100 cleaning fee.
Sleeper Cabins - Each sleeper cabin sleeps 6 and is air conditioned. Sleeper cabin 1 has one queen size bed and two double beds. Sleeper cabins 2 and 3 have three double beds. Sleeper cabins do NOT come with linens and do not have running water inside the cabins. Each have a picnic table and fire pit outside for cooking. The bath house is in close proximity to all three sleeper cabins. Over 6 people per cabin pays regular camping fees. You must reserve with a credit card. Check in time 3:00pm, check-out 11:30 unless prior arrangements have been made.
Fees per night: $70 per night during season, two night minimum on weekends. There is a $100 non refundable deposit when you hold the sleeper cabins.
Rental R.V.'s - Each R.V. sleeps 6 and is air conditioned. Each has 1 has one queen size bed, two pull out twin beds and one set of twin sized bunk beds. Rental R.V.'s do NOT come with linens. Each have their own bathroom with a toilet and small shower; kitchen with full sized refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave and coffee pot; picnic table and fire pit outside. Over 6 people per R.V. pays regular camping fees. You must reserve with a credit card. Check in time 3:00pm, check-out 11:30 unless prior arrangements have been made.
Fees per night: $110 per night during season, two night minimum on weekends. There is a $100 non refundable deposit when you hold the R.V.'s.
Other costs: Put-in at Twin Bridges, or take out at Tecumseh -$3 extra per canoe, 3 boat minimum on weekends. Bryant Creek $10 extra per boat. Available only by pre-arrangement.
Sunburst hauling personal canoes:
On our rig: $35 each if we are already taking a shuttle or you are with a group that is renting our boats.
On your rig, $25. By pre-arrangement only. Bus ride if space permits $5. Bus ride with personal inflatable if space permits: $7 per person. Hauling personal kayaks $20 each if we are already scheduled for a shuttle.
Campground day use / visitors / launch fees $5 per person, discounts available for church & Scout groups.

Church and Scout Groups
Sunburst Ranch is pleased to offer significant discounts to all church and scout troops that possess a valid tax-id form. You must bring a copy of the form for our records. We consider a 'group' 10 people or more.
Our discounted rates are as follows:
* Canoes - $35 per canoe (you must rent 5 canoes or more)
* Additional riders 12 or older - $10
* Second day of canoeing - $32 per canoe
* Single kayak - $25
* Tandem kayak - $40
* Tube rental with shuttle - $10 (to Dawt Mill)
* Tube rental all day with no shuttle - $8
* Camping - $5 ages 12+
* Camping - $3 ages 5-11
* Children under 5 are free
Due to limited availability we are unable to offer discounts on lodging and R.V. hookups. Normal prices apply for all services not listed above.
If you are organizing or coming with a group please print a copy of the release form below. Everyone MUST sign this form. (sunburstwaiver.pdf)
Children under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign the release waiver on page 3.
Group leaders can make copies of the waiver or direct parents to our site for a copy.
If children do not have their parents signed consent they will NOT be allowed to float.
RESERVATION POLICIES
Campsites, lodging and boat availability are on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the return of the deposit and reservation information. Those renting canoes are given preference in choice of campsites.

Should you reach our answering service, please leave a message, as we do return our calls. A VISA or MASTERCARD number is required upon reservation. We do not take reservations over email or facebook. Please call and speak with us to reserve your spot. Rates are subject to change without notice.
To better serve you, it is important that you notify all members as to your group's departure time and that they be ready to load at least 15 minutes before departure. Your campsite will be marked with the last name of the group leader. Only the group leaders need to check in upon arrival. Those arriving after 10:00 p.m. should proceed to the campground, then the next morning check in at our office, located just opposite the bath house. Balance of payment must be made at the office at least 30 minutes prior to departure time.
Campground Rules and Regulations
* Campers are responsible for knowing and complying with all rules and regulations
* No illegal drugs of any kind are allowed on the premises: Violators will be arrested and prosecuted.
* No ATVs, Dirt bikes, Firearms or Fireworks.
* No fighting.
* Please do not use vulgar language in offense to children or others.
* Do not cut, mar or damage trees. No trenching!
* No littering on campground.
* Dumpsters and trash bags are available. Please no cans or bottles in fire pits.
* Pets must be kept on a leash at all times while in the campground and are the responsibility of the owner. Loud or aggressive dogs will not be tolerated. Dogs are NOT permitted in the bathhouse.
* Speed limit is 10 mph in the campground. Violators will be evicted from the premises.
* QUIET Time is 11:00 pm. Quiet hour is strictly enforced. NON-COMPLIANCE CAN RESULT IN EVICTION!
* All Radios must be kept at a moderate volume level and must be turned OFF at 10:00 pm.
* We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
PLEASE NOTE: The Missouri State Water Patrol make periodic, unscheduled patrols in campground.
Here at Sunburst we try to stay as close to our assigned shuttle times as possible. We ask that you be IN FRONT of your campsite 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time with everything you need for the day. If you miss your shuttle time you will be allowed to take the next available shuttle that has an opening. If no openings are available you will have the option to float to Dawt Mill. Shuttle times are 7:00am (Twin Bridges); 8:00am (Hammond); 9:30am (Hammond); 11:00am (Hammond). Refunds will not be given for a missed shuttle.
All campers and renters must sign a liability waiver. Those that refuse will be asked to leave.
We do not refund deposits on last-minute cancellations.' Rain checks' will be given in the event of flooding or excessive all day rain.
If you are evicted from the campground, no money will be refunded.
Absolutely no glass in canoes, rafts or kayaks. It is the law!
Management reserves the right to EVICT persons for non-compliance with the above rules! NO EXCEPTIONS!
