Campground and Lodging

Sunburst Ranch is located on a beautiful stretch of the North Fork River. With nearly a mile of riverfront, you can bring your own inflatable devices and take a nice float without ever leaving the campground. We offer primitive camping as well as R.V. sites, tent sites with electricity, sleeper cabins, and two full service cabins.

Sunburst features a modern bathhouse, complete with electrical outlets, flush toilets, tiled floors, and hot showers with private dressing areas for campers. We offer a volleyball court, tetherball, and a mile and a half walking/jogging loop that circles the property.

Our campstore is stocked with floating and camping supplies, ice cream, treats, and souveneirs. Ice and firewood are also for sale at the campstore. Business hours are 10:00am-9:00pm on Friday; 6:00am-9:00pm on Saturday; 6:00am-3:00pm on Sunday and by request. We are also offering a Saturday Breakfast and Saturday dinner to all of our guests. Breakfast is $6.50; Dinner is $8.50. We require one week of notice if you are planning on eating with us.

The RiverHouse is located at the far upstream end of Sunburst Ranch, looking out over a beautiful spot on the North Fork River. For larger groups who also have tent campers, the backyard of the RiverHouse is spacious and has picnic tables and firepit for a nearby camping area. The air-conditioned riverhouse sleeps twelve; including 2 bedrooms that each sleep 4, a living room with a pull-out bed that will sleep 2 and a large greatroom with an additional pull-out that will sleep 2. The house also has a full kitchen, and bathroom with shower. There is a two night minimum to stay in the riverhouse.

We are in the process of reflooring the entire riverhouse and making over the bathroom. It will be ready for rent again in late March 2010.

Our LOG CABIN is nestled up on the hillside away from the crowd. It sleeps 8 people with three beds upstairs and a pull out in the living room. It also has air conditioning, a full kitchen and bathroom. It has a ladder-type staircase up to the open loft bedroom. There is a two night minimum stay in the log cabin.

Our sleeper cabins are 16' x 10' with a five foot front porch. Each will sleep up to 6 people. Additional camping space is available for those who wish to tent camp around you. These units are air conditioned with a water spigot located outside. We do not provide linens in the sleeper cabins. Sleeper Cabin 1 has a queen size bed and two full sized beds. Sleeper cabins 2 & 3 have three full size beds each. If you are looking for an affordable way to escape from the elements these cabins are made for you.

Due to some late cancellations in the last few years we are now requiring a $200 deposit up front to reserve either cabin. $100 of this is NON REFUNDABLE. You will receive $100 back if you cancel before the two week deadline. Sleeper Cabins require a $100 non-refundable deposit for weekend bookings.
