Airstrip Information The airstrip available for fly-in Sunburst Ranch customers
is actually on our neighbor’s property, and is used by his kind
permission. Bill maintains his 3000’
foot grass airstrip in good
condition, but he wants pilots to know he does not provide any services
(besides a windsock). In other words,
there are no tie-downs, nor
other amenities. Please call us (417-284-3443) before planning to fly in,
so that we can let Bill know you will be coming. Also, by pre-arranged time, Sunburst staff can drive up to the
airstrip and bring you, your guests,
and gear down to the campground in a van. If you want, (and have light gear to carry), you can just hop a fence and walk down our
